Refund Policy
Short version: Digital products (book and toolkit) are non-refundable once accessed. Done-for-you services can be cancelled before the project kickoff for a full refund of any upfront payment. Once we've started work, fees are non-refundable.
Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all products and services purchased from The Delivery Method, a brand operated by OYA Studio LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States ("we," "us," "our").
By completing a purchase on thedeliverymethod.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy along with our Terms of Service.

Book & digital products
The Book ($29)
The Book is a digital PDF download delivered immediately upon successful payment. Once the file has been delivered or downloaded, the purchase is non-refundable. This is consistent with industry practice for digital products (Amazon, Gumroad, Lulu, and other major platforms apply similar policies).
If you experience a technical issue preventing you from accessing or downloading the file (corrupted file, broken link, etc.), please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve the issue at no extra charge.
The Toolkit ($79)
The Toolkit includes The Book plus a set of digital templates and spreadsheets (the Menu Profitability Matrix, the Weekly Review Template, the Unit Economics Model, etc.). Once you have accessed any of these files, the purchase is non-refundable.
The Full Stack ($197)
The Full Stack includes The Book, The Toolkit, and one (1) hour of online coaching scheduled at a mutually agreed time. Refund terms:
- Coaching session: if you cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice, no fee applies. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or do not attend the session, the coaching fee is forfeited.
- Digital files: non-refundable once accessed (same as standalone Toolkit).
Done-for-you services
Our done-for-you services (DoorDash Optimization, Uber Eats Optimization, Grubhub Optimization, Menu Engineering for Delivery, Direct Ordering Setup, and Multi-Platform Strategy) operate on a fixed-scope, fixed-price engagement model.
Before kickoff: full refund available
If you cancel an engagement before the project kickoff date specified in the written proposal, any upfront payment will be refunded in full within 10 business days. To cancel, simply contact us at [email protected] in writing.
After kickoff: non-refundable
Once we have started work on your engagement (typically marked by the audit phase kickoff or the first deliverable), fees paid are non-refundable. This protects both parties: it allows us to commit our team's time to your project, and it ensures you have our full attention.
Mid-engagement cancellation
You may choose to end the engagement at the end of any phase. In that case:
- Work completed up to that point belongs to you and remains accessible.
- The upfront payment for that phase is not refunded.
- Future phases not yet started will not be billed.
Multi-Platform Strategy audit fee
The $500 paid audit fee for the Multi-Platform Strategy is non-refundable. If you choose to proceed with the full 90-day engagement after the audit, the $500 is credited toward the engagement fee. If you decide not to proceed, you keep the written audit report.
14-day revision window
For all completed service engagements, we offer a 14-day revision window after handoff. Any deliverable that does not match the written scope of the proposal will be revised at no additional cost. This is not a refund — it is a quality guarantee.
Chargebacks & payment disputes
We process payments through Stripe, which provides secure transaction handling. If you have any concern about a charge, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can resolve the issue directly.
Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in:
- Suspension of access to digital products and templates.
- Termination of any active service engagement.
- Recovery of any associated chargeback fees through legal means if applicable.
How to request a refund or cancellation
To request a refund or cancellation eligible under this policy:
- Email us at [email protected] with your order number and a brief description of the situation.
- We typically respond within 2 business days.
- If your request is eligible, we will process the refund through Stripe within 10 business days. Refunds appear on your statement based on your bank's processing time (typically 5-10 additional days).
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Changes apply to purchases made after the effective date of the update — they do not retroactively change the terms of past purchases.
